Type V
The shoulders are wider than the hips (by at least one inch).
Goal
Add volume and softness to the hips.
Type X
The shoulders and hips are similar in width, with a well-defined waist (around 10 inches smaller).
Goal
Maintain the natural balance of the hourglass shape.
Type H / I
The shoulders and hips are aligned, with little definition at the waist.
Goal
Create the illusion of a waist to break up the rectangular shape.
Note: The difference between H and I lies in bone structure.
